Why Is Denver So Good?
I know a lot of us were making fun of their off-season moves but right now they are looking like a huge payoff.
What makes this team so good this year? |
Jake Plummer stopped throwing the ball to the other team.
Because I hate them. Because I once again had high hopes this year. Thats why.
Plummer doesn't have to think anymore. They still have a great run game and the D-line is healthy and playing well and probably some luck in there too.
Great running game, efficient passing game, and pretty good defense.
The amazing part of that is that a big part of there defense came from the Browns.
Shanny is a good coach. Denver has always been competative under him. They will probably win the division but they wont win in the playoffs.
I actually thought they'd be quite good, just not this good. Them and SD are real teams, what we aspire to be. They're also far more complete without a HUGE hole. SD has pass defense but they have a pass-rush to compensate some.
I agree everty team playing as good as they are has the ball bouncing their way too. But it just seems like that they are doing what we used to do back in the MArty days. Line up then execute. And play like you want to win.
DV is very soft compared to Shanahan and I think that is the difference there. |
The Jets suck. Don't start sucking off Denver just yet.

Aside from one game this year Denver has pretty much kicked ass all year. They beat the crap out of Philly, never came down to 1 play with them and Raiders. They beat SD. They beat the crap out of us. They are mowing down the Jets the way they should. I say them and Indy in the AFC Championship right now. |
Denver doesn't have a road win that impresses me yet.
They cheat.
They chop-block. They cheat on the salary cap. They're lucky. They use cooking spray. They hold on offense. They interfere with the draft. They have a deal with Satan. They are Satan. |
refs keep their opening drives alive at home.
