Little help, please.
 

Whenever I try to give someone rep, it won't let the rep window come up. It acts like it's blocking it, but it's showing 0 pop-ups being blocked on my counter. Is there someplace I need to check on here or on my computer?

Sometimes when I know Im going to have a popup window that I need, I have to hit I cant remember which one control or shift. That works for me.

try clearing your cookies and your cache

I've got it now. WTF are cookies, and how do I view them/clear them?

well now that you have it does the site work in firefox or are you still having the same issues..




How to clear cookies using Internet Explorer:

1. Click Tools from the menu along the top of the screen.
2. Choose Internet Options from the drop down menu. This will open a separate box.
3. On the General Tab (which should already be displayed) you will see under Temporary Internet Files (in the middle of the box) two buttons labeled Clear Cookies and Clear Files. Please click both of these buttons.
4. Under History, click the button that says Clear History.
5. Click Apply and you are done!

Did all that. Still can't give you rep for trying to help though. :shrug:

Have you Restarted your computer?

Still nothing. I click on the icon, the window comes up, but makes that "bloop" sound and disappears.

try holding CTRL as you click the button

That works (props to Dunit for suggesting it first), but I've never had to do that before. Why do I have to do that now?

In fire fox go to


TOOLS at the top

Then OPTIONS

then Chose CONTENT

then click on ALLOWED SITES next to the Pop up check box and add chiefs planet

Hmmm...still comes up saying that a pop-up was blocked. I'll go hunting and see if I can find my other pop-up blocker program.
