Woods and Bell possible Cap Casualties. . .
not sure if its been posted already but it looks like these two are gonna be out. . . dont let the door hit u on the way out

What makes you think Woods is gonna be cut? You do know that the contract he signed after 2003 is gonna cost us if we cut him, right?

They're obviously idiots then...who in their right mind would cut someone as a "cap casualty" that would than proceed to cost them MORE then if they had kept them.

I hope we do let Bell go. I was excited about the acquisition, but it's clear there's something wrong with him, and this team can't afford to be patient with him...especially at his price.
As for Woods, we all are assuming that his contract is structured in a more conventional manner that makes him too pricey to cut. But maybe that isn't the case. There's no way to know his actual cap number or the stucture of his contract. Hopefully Peterson was smart enough to have his ass covered, and we can let Woods go rather than pay him millions to be a bad back-up. |

it depends on whether they have the cap room and how productive the player is. the roster spot may be more important than the cap $$$ i don't know whether Woods is gonna get cut or not ... but they sure are paying alot for a veteran special teams player. |
In other news...
the earth is round and Abraham Lincoln was shot. |
