Do you get today off? I do and it kicks ass. Most paid holidays are busy, spending time with family, driving to the lake, cooking, etc. The ones you can just relax and enjoy are nice.

funny, I just asked the same question, out loud, to nobody in general.

I'm off paid, but it's because I'm home sick with the fucking flu. Believe me, I'd rather not have the flue and be at work right now. This sucks. :grr:

this is the first time I have had it off since I was 15. I started working at quiktrip when I turned 16 and had to work every holiday I was scheduled. It sucked.

The flight didn't get in till 11:00pm then we had to pick up Dad's car and swing back by here to get the dogs. I waited at the airport for 1.5 hours and didn't get home till almost 1am.

Off, paid. THANK GOD cause I have one of those killer hangovers where I wish I could drink another and another, but have some coaching to do this afternoon! Dieeeeeee

I only get off for the "six major holidays". Waiting from New Year's to Memorial Day is like taking a long walk through the Sahara.
