He's a player I'm starting to fall for. Covers a lot of ground, good tackler, seems like he'd be a great complement to Knight.

If he's at 20, do we take him?

20 is too high for Whitner.

Before he started to rise up the board, I thought he might be there for us at #54.

Im all for Lawson or Kiwanuka in the 1st, and Jason Allen in the 2nd.

I've seen him as high as 16 and as low as 31. But in more than one mock I've seen him at 18 to the Cowboys or 24 to the Bengals. So I don't know if 20 is too high.

I just don't believe in taking a guy that much higher than his original draft standing, simply because of his offseason workout numbers.

Whitner is more of a big-hitter, play close to the line type of S. Not really what we need, we need somebody that can defend the pass and cover guys like Gates...

Jason Allen won't make it to our 2nd-round pick. If he does, it means his hip is BAD.

I think 20 is overrated for him. Has the rep of missing tackles trying to take off their heads. We've already got a FS who excels at that.

Yeah, he's really more of a headhunter type.

I'd be OK with Whitner at #20. He wouldn't be my first choice and I wouldn't take him over a few other guys, but I would not mind the pick at all.
