My bold seasons worth of record predictions
Okay, here's my bold predictions for the seasons based on looking at each teams schedules. Granted I did it before the weekend & Big Ben's wreck, but based on looking at what each team has done in the offseason and the schedule they face, I'm predicting their wins.
(Yes, I had a lot of time on my hands.) I really didn't think we'd end up with as good as a record as I gave us, but here you go. Team, Record, Div. Record, Conf. Record, Winning % _________________ AFC North Baltimore 7&9 3&3 7&5 0.438 Cincy 7&9 3&3 6&5 0.438 Cleveland 2&14 0&6 2&10 0.125 Pitt 9&7 5&1 8&4 0.563 z _________________ AFC East New England 9&7 5&1 8&4 0.563 NY Jets 5&11 1&5 3&9 0.313 Miami 12&4 5&1 9&3 0.750 z Buffalo 2&14 1&5 2&10 0.125 _________________ AFC West Denver 11&5 4&2 8&4 0.688 ?x KC 11&5 4&2 8&4 0.688 ?x San Diego 10&6 4&2 8&4 0.625 y Oakland 4&12 0&6 2&10 0.250 KC & Denver would have to go to a "strength-of-victory" tiebreaker. I didn't plan it this way, but both have common wins & losses in division & conference and common opponents. Either way both make playoffs. _________________ AFC South Indy 12&4 6&0 11&1 0.750 z Jacksonville 8&8 4&2 6&6 0.500 Houston 5&11 2&4 4&8 0.313 Tennessee 2&14 1&5 2&10 0.125 _________________ NFC South Tampa Bay 7&9 3&3 5&7 0.438 Atlanta 6&10 3&3 7&5 0.375 Carolina 9&7 3&3 5&7 0.563 z Saints 8&8 3&3 5&7 0.500 _________________ NFC East NY Giants 13&3 4&2 9&3 0.813 z Washington 12&4 3&3 8&4 0.750 x Philly 5&11 1&5 3&9 0.313 Dallas 11&5 4&2 8&4 0.688 * (*loses playoff shot to Arizona, who beats Dallas head to head at Arizona on Nov 12) _________________ NFC North Minnesota 9&7 3&3 6&6 0.563 z Chicago 7&9 2&4 5&7 0.438 Green Bay 7&9 3&3 5&7 0.438 Detroit 5&11 3&3 4&8 0.313 _________________ NFC West St Louis 3&13 1&5 3&9 0.188 Arizona 11&5 4&2 8&4 0.688 y Seattle 12&4 5&1 11&1 0.750 z San Fran 3&13 1&5 3&9 0.188 z = division winner y = wild card x = playoff spot |
Just glancing I'm assuming the NFC South must have one rough schedule because I don't see the top team in that division having only 9 wins in fact I'd be willing to bet a whole $10 that Carolina ends up with 10 wins or better.

No way are the Raiders going to win 4 games.
They'll be drafting #1 next year. |
If you had waited a week, you could have used my software. You could have clicked off the winner of each game and it would do the rest for you.
The odds of guessing every game correctly are 1 in 116 followed by 75 zeros. |
WTF?
I hope to see you eatin’ crow. :whip: Quote:
the O-line choices we made and keeping of our core players especially on defense. Don't forget Number 1 Defense last season we were. Quote:
Pats will do much better than the win/loss ratio you predict. Their schedule finally lightens up compared to last years. IN BB I trust. |

I don't know about Arizona 11-5 or Miami 12-4... I think you are overrating these teams a tincy wincy bit. When I mean a tincy bit,..I mean alot. I know Miami is a trendy pick but I can't see them doing better than 10-6 even if they overachieve again. Arizona, is Arizona. Edge isn't going to run wild. The cards don't have near the line that Peyton has.
Miami 9-7 Arizona 7-9 |

It's one of those love/hate relationships and he's the really hot slut that you can't help but being whipped by, thinking that she loves you, but you don't ever want to ask yourself question. That nagging question. The burning question. The painful question. "Did that bitch give me the ghonorea?" :banghead: You have probably the hardest schedule in football, in addition to playing the NFC East, which as you can see I think is the best division in the NFL, you also play Pittsburgh & Seattle. |

A good RB can make an O-line better and Zona needs that to happen. Miami has an easy schedule and a far better QB than they had last season in Culpepper, whose career has always gone up and down. Last year was down. They play Buffalo & Jets twice, so there's 4 wins for you and they play Green Bay, Tennessee, Houston & Detroit. There's another 4 wins. I think they are going to be better than New England once at home, better than Jax at home, Minnesota at home, and then comes week 17 at home against Indy, who'll already have the playoffs wrapped up, for win # 12. |
Well the NFC East AFC West look like the divisions to watch this year. Not that that is any surprise though. But, Washington?
