My bold seasons worth of record predictions

Okay, here's my bold predictions for the seasons based on looking at each teams schedules. Granted I did it before the weekend & Big Ben's wreck, but based on looking at what each team has done in the offseason and the schedule they face, I'm predicting their wins.
(Yes, I had a lot of time on my hands.) I really didn't think we'd end up with as good as a record as I gave us, but here you go.

Team, Record, Div. Record, Conf. Record, Winning %

KC & Denver would have to go to a "strength-of-victory" tiebreaker. I didn't plan it this way, but both have common wins & losses in division & conference and common opponents. Either way both make playoffs.

Just glancing I'm assuming the NFC South must have one rough schedule because I don't see the top team in that division having only 9 wins in fact I'd be willing to bet a whole $10 that Carolina ends up with 10 wins or better.

TinyEvel 06-12-2006 05:31 PM

No way are the Raiders going to win 4 games.

They'll be drafting #1 next year.

cdcox 06-12-2006 05:36 PM

If you had waited a week, you could have used my software. You could have clicked off the winner of each game and it would do the rest for you.

The odds of guessing every game correctly are 1 in 116 followed by 75 zeros.

TB will be in a dog fight with Carolina...but I think we will prevail with
the O-line choices we made and keeping of our core players especially on defense. Don't forget Number 1 Defense last season we were.

The Jets will be at the bottom duking it out with Buffalo.
Pats will do much better than the win/loss ratio you predict. Their schedule finally lightens up compared to last years. IN BB I trust.

I don't know about Carolina winning 10, it is one hard schedule. Lucky for them they face New Orleans twice.

I don't know about Arizona 11-5 or Miami 12-4... I think you are overrating these teams a tincy wincy bit. When I mean a tincy bit,..I mean alot. I know Miami is a trendy pick but I can't see them doing better than 10-6 even if they overachieve again. Arizona, is Arizona. Edge isn't going to run wild. The cards don't have near the line that Peyton has.

Miami 9-7
Arizona 7-9

I didn't forget about your defense, unfortunately I'm also not able to forget that your QB is named Chris Simms. I have wanted to like that kid for a long time, but he makes it hard. Basically karma says that letting Griese go in favor of Simms was a bad thing. Remember Major Applewhite? How did Texas do after he left and they had just Simms?

It's one of those love/hate relationships and he's the really hot slut that you can't help but being whipped by, thinking that she loves you, but you don't ever want to ask yourself question. That nagging question. The burning question. The painful question.
"Did that bitch give me the ghonorea?" :banghead:

You have probably the hardest schedule in football, in addition to playing the NFC East, which as you can see I think is the best division in the NFL, you also play Pittsburgh & Seattle.

I know what you mean, but thats why I called it "bold predictions".

A good RB can make an O-line better and Zona needs that to happen.

Miami has an easy schedule and a far better QB than they had last season in Culpepper, whose career has always gone up and down. Last year was down. They play Buffalo & Jets twice, so there's 4 wins for you and they play Green Bay, Tennessee, Houston & Detroit. There's another 4 wins. I think they are going to be better than New England once at home, better than Jax at home, Minnesota at home, and then comes week 17 at home against Indy, who'll already have the playoffs wrapped up, for win # 12.

Well the NFC East AFC West look like the divisions to watch this year. Not that that is any surprise though. But, Washington?
