mlyonsd 07-23-2006 02:28 PM

Oh, well, if you put it that way.

R&GHomer 07-23-2006 02:28 PM

UgggGrrrrrrrrrr nut hooks. I don't hear Ty Laws fat moma singing yet.

recxjake 07-23-2006 02:29 PM

Now its up to Law

Go with Herm

Go with your old team?

CoMoChief 07-23-2006 02:31 PM

Still shouldve signed Rocky Benard for MUCH cheaper at a position we really have had the biggest hole in.

Seriously though if Sims gets his ass in gear and Rocky playing beside him along with Hali and Allen, that would have given us a very solid Dline for many years to come. Ty Law will only play for at the most 2 more seasons.

SPchief 07-23-2006 02:31 PM

Err I'm guessing you didn't read that to closely did you

Here's the link for anyone interested. Also I find it curious that he is giving NE a chance to match or exceed the offer. Exceed I understand, but match? If the dude isn't sure he wants to play here, fuck him.

Great. Another wreckedjake misleading post title. :cuss:

My fault, as I didn't consider the source.

Since when? FA is like an auction, and players (usually) go with the highest bidder.

Nick Cafardo, of the Boston Globe, reports the Kansas City Chiefs are close to a deal with free agent CB Ty Law (Jets). The five-year deal is believed to be worth more than $30 million. According to an NFL source, the New England Patriots will have one final chance to match or exceed the Chiefs' offer. The Patriots extended an offer to Law, but at a level below what the Chiefs offered.

This is the point were some obscure team, swoops in out of the ****ing blue and snatches him from the both of us. Just sayin

Rocky admitted to never having intentions of leaving, he just wanted his big or semi big payday. He wasnt ever going to leave Seattle why would he they just came from the damn Superbowl. If i was him i would have not left Seattle either. THey have a damn good chance to repeat.

I agree with flopnuts, it has more to do with Law playing Carl/Herm to get the biggest contract out of the team he really wants to play for....NE.

I hope I'm wrong.

However, according to the NFL source, the Patriots will have one final shot to match or exceed the Chiefs' offer. The Patriots has extended an offer to Law, but at a level below the current Chiefs' offer."--Nick Cardofo

Apparently, the Patriots have their own Nick Athan.
