Sun, 30 Jul 2006 10:22:11 -0700 The Kansas City Chiefs official training camp site reports Kansas City Chiefs PK Lawrence Tynes was a perfect seven for seven on field goals at practice Sunday morning, July 30. He converted from distances of 24, 28, 31, 34, 38, 40 and 44-yards. Chiefs | Law at practice Sunday Sun, 30 Jul 2006 10:16:28 -0700 The Kansas City Chiefs official training camp site reports the Kansas City Chiefs held their first practice in pads Sunday, July 30, and CB Ty Law was in attendance. He was working with the starting defense opposite CB Patrick Surtain. Head coach Herman Edwards said of Law's first day, "He's a little rusty but he's only been here a day. The great part about him is that he's in good shape. His footwork and stuff will come. We don't want to wear him out on the first day." Law will be penciled in as the starting right cornerback. That means he will play out of position, away from the left side, where he has played his entire career. |
