I just got rep for a pop culture reference in a thread over a year old.

So I thought it'd be interesting to ask; what's the longest lag between a post of yours and a rep out of the blue for it.

I dont know..but I was -10,000 in the red last month and made a miraculous recovery somehow :hmmm:

I've never gotten rep, of any kind.

The more my posts sit there, the more they become NOT funny or interesting.

I got rep several months ago for something I posted about a year earlier. Don't remember what, though.

I don't think I have any either...what IS rep?????

The rep thing only reminds me of high school jocks vs. everyone else.

In all seriousness, though, I like the rep system. When I click on a thread that is started by someone bleeding red, I know that others have found that person to be lacking. It's also often a troll alert if someone's completely red. Often times, I'll just ignore the thread entirely. On the other hand, I tend to trust the opinions of long-time "icons" a bit more than others. It's not a perfect system, but it's nice in some ways.

I think you need to go to a board populated by grown ups....I suggest the Chiefs Coalition, they'll love you there.
