Had it happened on third and long in the middle of the game, maybe. But that play was completely useless, and to clock a guy like that after the game is basically over, not cool.

St. Louis had no business running that play. Knight wasn't trying to injure the guy, either. Great hit, but it was clean and there was no intent to injure, IMO.

It looks worse every time ya watch it.

Not really glorifying it, sux he got hurt, but his Coach and OC put him in harms way when the game was over. There was no need to even call a play.

Maybe your ****ing coach should have let the clock run out instead of trying to pick up a garbage TD with 7 seconds...

Chris Simms could have easily died had he not gone to the hospital when he did. These guys are out there potentially ruining their ability to have a "normal" rest of their life. Show some respect.

No one is glorifying that. But if that it was T.O. or Rod Smith or something I would be.

I agree with what you're saying, but I know when to hold back when you see a guy get his clock cleaned.

Knight was playing his position and playing full speed. Honestly, that's what he should be doing. It was a nasty hit, but it wasn't as if he was trying to hurt the guy; he was playing his assignment.
