Today is my 22nd Anniversary......
 

And I am lucky as heck......my wife is all the following and more:

1) Just as beautiful as she was when I married her 22 years ago...
2) The best cook that any man could ask for...
3) The most understanding and tolerant wife when it comes to realizing that Sunday afternoons during football season are mine...
4) The best family CFO any man could ask for.....the only person I know that can make $1 buy $10 worth of groceries...
5) The most patient person when it comes to handling a Special Needs child...
6) The person who somehow knows how to avoid bruising my delicate ego while never letting me embarass myself....
7) The best lover any man could ask for....

In other words, I would be nothing without her and I am everything I had hoped to be with her at my side.

So, babe, in case you peek in here as you are occasionally wont to do, please know I love you and you mean the world to me.

so.. forgot to buy the gift eh?

I guess the only drawback I see is that she keeps increasing the amount of my life insurance.....I am close to reaching that point where she might start to weigh the benefit of a "living" me vs. a "not living" me.

Something I did ONCE...and only ONCE.

I've found that there are many things as a hubby that you can do and she will forgive you for, but forgetting the anniversary or birthday lands you outside fighting the dog for a place to sleep.

Congrats and a toast will be raised for you both tonight with my dart buddies.

My wife and I had our 22nd this year as well and feel the same about her as your list. She has had to put up with a KC fan for so many years - our oldest son was born during a KC/Raiders game; it was a birthing room with a couch and TV so the doc and I watched Monday night football as the labor progressed to culmination (luckily after the end of the game).

BTW my son is a hardcore Chiefs fan with his room looking like a souvenir store.

The wives have to put up with a lot from us but they even things up with menopause. :)
