Gunther's replacement ?
 
It's late and I've been watching some replays of this season on the NFL Network's 10 minute recap. Our defense must be driving Herm up the wall. The blitz package has to be the one of the worst in the NFL.
Here are four candidates I can see Herm wanting:

1) Donnie Henderson - previously with the Jets as DC ,now with the Lions.
2) Bob Sutton - current Jets DC and previous LB coach under Herm
3) Don Blackmon - Current LB coach and previous DC with Atlanta
4) David Gibbs- Current DB coach, previous Auburn DC/secondary coach. DB coach for the Donkeys 2001-2004.

Gun isnt going anywhere. Our d isnt great, but its really not the problem anymore. Our offense is pathetic now.

Cleveland says otherwise.

The offense is "pathetic" because of blocking from the tackles.
The defense can get pushed around because of the crummy tackles being blocked.

My thoughts exactly. I thought Gun only needed to get back upstairs, but I see little improvement other than our total D rank(currently 16th).

First, Clark Hunt will fire Carl Peterson. Then the Bucs are going to fire Jon Gruden. The Colts are gonna go "hey, Chucky's taken Dungy's guys and won a Super Bowl before", and they'll fire Tony Dungy and hire Gruden.

Dungy will be on the market. Clark Hunt will offer him a big contract to come in and be the DC/assistant head coach. Then with CP gone, Clark will offer a similar deal to Al Saunders to bring him back as the OC/assistant to the head coach.

So next year we'll have Herm and Dungy running the defense, Gun will stay on a position coach, and Saunders will be back on offense. Shields will stick around, Roaf will come back rested and better than ever, Welbourn will get Turley some steroids, and Priest will return with a third and fourth level burst the likes of which have never been seen. Seeing all this, Gonzo will re-sign for free.

We'll be unbeatable!
