Book Review: "Next Man Up"
I read this book on my trip, and wanted to take a second and recommend it. It is written by John Feinstein, and is basically about a year behind the scenes (2004) with the Baltimore Ravens. It is interesting as hell, especially for those of us who are constantly speculating about how the front office works in different teams, etc. Obviously every team is different, and Billick is a very different type of cat, but after reading the book, I actually came away with an amount of respect for him, when before I thought he was one of the more D-baggiest coaches in the league.
Anyhow, just an all around well written book about a topic I would venture to guess most on here are interested in. If you have a few days, and wanna drop the cash on a good book, this would be one I'd fully recommend.
