As my house burned down recently I need a million things. Two of them are a DSL modem and a power cord for my printer. I started a thread looking for a modem and got a lot of response. KC Kings had an extra one and he volunteered it. I contacted a Planet friend, C-Mac about the power cord by PM because he is a wizard at making electronic things work. He just happened to have what I couldn't find on the internet. (I told you he is a wizard.) This isn't the first time C-Mac has helped me out. Now, both of these items are worth about $50. And neither one of thes guys would take a dime for this merchandise. Not even freight!! Friends like these are hard to find. About two years ago I sold Chiefs 52 a satellite dish. I gave him a price that included freight. When I got his check it was for $10 more than I asked. Planeteers are the best people on earth!!!!!!!!

Glad some one is making a postive thread about the planteers. glad to hear people came to your aide. I wish there was something more I could do than just offer well wishes.

I have to agree. Phil put me up in his house for free one night. WisChief drove me to the game the next morning. Dave Lane vastly overpaid for my services. I'm betting I lose my virginity to a planeteer.

Something I left out was that, after the fire, Rainman offered to loan me MONEY. We've never met. This is one hell of a site!!!!
