Trent Green to the Panthers?
 

Caroilna waived Weinke as the backup and has lost some faith in Jake D as the starter. Looks like a good destination for him..

Pure speculation. If the Dolphins can't work it out I think it would be a good situation for him.

Delhomme is their QB. I have not heard a peep about that changing. He missed a few games last year but he was just about as decent as ever, was he not?

No - he wasn't. I live in the area and there are major questions on whether or not he is the answer at QB. He had a really bad year and there has been speculation that they may bring someone in to compete with him.

Green is in trouble.

He's a system QB and about the only team running his system is the Skins. Apparently they're commited to Campbel and Brunnell.

Too bad for Trent but I think it's time to warm up his voice and explore a job in the fast paced world of broadcasting.

We need some compensation for Green, but I don't think there will be many takers.

I hope Trent retires. He doesn't need the money and he is too good a guy to get his brains scrambled.
