The best we can hope for is a 4th.

No 82 year old QB will warrant first day pics unless he is some sort of unholy savant.

A conditional pick for 08 in the 3rd-5th round range.

Anything higher than a 4th rounder will be a total shock to me, based on age alone.

I'm guessing a 6th rounder or equivalent player.

what is Green worth?

a conditional 2nd rounder .... if he starts all year and throws for more than 3k yards it turns into a 1st.

Pretty much what I'm thinking... I mean, let's say that Favre was available for trade. He *might* warrant a first day draft pick.

Green is good enough to lead the Chicago Bear to a Super Bowl victory ... maybe multiple ... that's worth a 2nd rounder to them.

Green is a solid QB and a good leader .... great chemistry guy. If you have a good team and needs someone of character at the helm then Green is worth it.

if your team is young and rebuilding then you don't want Green at all.

How many teams are ready though to send a R2 (conditional R1) pick to KC for Green? There just aren't too many openings available for that price on a guy that old, especially that are 1 or 2 players away from winning a title.

CHI has too much $ and recent picks invested in the QB position to invest another 1st day pick on a QB that old.
