HIGHLANDS RANCH - A Broncos wide receiver was arrested late Monday night after an argument with his girlfriend escalated.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says they were called to the 8500 block of Gold Peak Lane in Highlands Ranch after receiving a report from a woman about a fight with her boyfriend.

The woman told police her boyfriend, Denver Bronco Brandon Marshall, would not let her leave. According to the sheriff's office the report, Brandon blocked her taxi with his vehicle.

Marshall was arrested for false imprisonment and domestic violence. He was advised Tuesday morning and bond was set at $2,500.
