God forsaken waste of space. I hate Iowa. No offense.

I grew up in Iowa. What the hell? Have you ever even gone there? Miles and miles of CORN!!!

Although...there is alot you can do in a cornfield....

If you are driving through Iowa and only see corn, you probably haven't looked to your left.


I will say that in an emergency, the corn provides more cover, but the beans have softer leaves.

We call that Ohio around here.

The old folks home? You guys call lots of things by the wrong name there.

The only reason for the beans is that every few years you need to plant another crop for the soil to be it's best.

The town I grew up in actually has an ethanol plant...and some of the highest fuel prices I've seen.

You ever been to Keokuk Iowa? Holy cow that has to be the shittiest city on earth. Ft. Madison is right behind it. Actually my ex-wife and I had an inside joke about "****in' Iowa" because we were taking a working trip to Cedar Falls to the Surf Ballroom and the road signs were so ef'd up we just started yelling "****in' Iowa all the time.

I guess the road signs weren't really that important though considering we were stuck behind Amish people most of the way across the state. I'm getting frustrated again just thinking about it.

Iowa. Where men are men, and sheep are nervous.

But at least it better than Kansas. :thumb:

I've lived in both, and can't tell much difference. (except for a lack of trees in KS)
