Sports Blog Nation Mock Draft - Ginn to the Chiefs

Sports Blog Nation's football bloggers are getting together and doing a mock draft. We have all but four NFL teams officially represented. The main hub for the site is Field Gulls, the local Seahawks site. It was chosen because they do not have a first round pick.

I'm the Chiefs blogger over there and I just took Ted Ginn Jr. Check it out here. Lots of info for each pick so far.

Why we would want a kick returner with a #1 pick is beyond me.

No kidding, especially when we could have a shot at Yamon Figurs in the fourth, if that's how we wanted to go.

Ted Ginn? No thanks...

Taking the KR in round one allows us to take a K in round two.

You used to work for the Jets, didn't you?

Would not be a surprise at all.

Because he is a good reciever and a very good deep threat and thats all we need is a deep threat for TG to get a lot of catches. At 23 I would take him he is gonna be a really good #receiver and he will develop into a number one.

I don't share your enthusiasm. IMO, he's going to be a great return guy, and a solid #3, MAYBE turning out to be a decent #2. I don't see how Ginn will ever be the featured receiver on a team.

For me, it came down to Ted Ginn Jr or Dwayne Jarrett. I could have been happy with either one of them.

Arrowhead Pride 04-06-2007 11:12 AM

And I think Ted Ginn is a lot more versatile that just a kick returner.

El Jefe 04-06-2007 11:29 AM

I agree I dont think Ginn could take over a game, but he could take a lot of pressure off our other recievers.

Marvin Harrison - 6-0

Reggie Wayne - 6-0

Roy Williams - 6-2

Donald Driver - 6-0

Lee Evans - 5-10

Anquan Boldin - 6-1

Torry Holt - 6-0

Terrell Owens - 6-3

Steve Smith - 5-9

Interesting chart arrowhead pride, Ginn is pretty big in person I am 6'5 and I thought he was around 6'1.

El Jefe 04-06-2007 11:45 AM

Big as in "tall", I meant.
