Flooding in Hutchinson, KS
 

Not my home flooding. Just saw on a news break that Cow Creek here in Hutch - NW Hutch is flooding. 3-7 feet in a lot of area's. Evacuating people by boat and air boat now.

This shit is crazy. Supposed to get off & on rain until Thursday. Could get worse as the week goes on.

Soil is so saturated it can't absorb anymore. Too bad we can't just open up tiny little holes down to the aquifer and save it for the next drought.

Divert it to the hand dug well

You're such a ****ing asshole. A town gets obliterated by a tornado, another one is flooding, and all you can do is make piss poor jokes about their misfortune.

wow, sorry if that offended you but I didn't find it to be such a harsh joke. Maybe a little light humor with all the crazy weather going on, but in no way am I making light of what happened to people. I know someone who lives/ed in Greensberg so I don't find myself to be too insensitive. Lots of water in one town, big well in another, I don't see where that's making a joke about misfortune.

As far as I know, yes. I believe they do it every summer. It might be swimming lessons though this year.

I'm heading out there this week.
