The Luck of the Irish
The Celtics are screwed.
Terrible team last year, and despite having the second-greatest chance of landing a top 2 pick (Oden or Durant), they get stuck with the 5th. The remaining three have yet to be announced. But they include the Blazers, Sonics, and somebody else. The Knicks? |
****ing horseshit.

Damn, Portland could be a very good team...Oden, Roy, Aldridge are all young studs.
|
3rd pick -- Hawks.
2nd pick -- Supersonics. 1st pick -- Trail Blazers. So the Northeast did very damn well in this draft. I'll tell you this much -- the Blazers passed over Jordan in 1983 for Sam Bowie. Shall we expect them to screw this choice up yet again? |
What's the point, by the way, of having a lottery.
Why not just do it NFL style. |

Well, as the Celtics learned, this way you don't get rewarded for tanking the season. |
Luck of the Irish? How about the luck of the Scottish? I've never been laid and Lawrence Tynes just got ****ed by King Carl and Herm. ****in' hell, man.

With Seattle being a possible relocation team, and possibly having Durrant on their roster, I'm all for the Sprint Center delegates making an all out effort to lure that franchise to KC. Heck with Oklahoma City. Bring them here!

I hope somebody put Bill Simmons on suicide watch. That was brutal.
The other weird thing is that both Oden and Durant are going to the Western Conference. The two conferences are going to be so unbalanced it's ridiculous. |

Losing the draft lottery was the best thing to happen to this franchise. |
