If the Chiefs start off 4-2 with all of those games to start the season on the road, I don't think any changes will be made unless injuries occur. If however, that was the case, No. I wouldn't change back to Huard. At 4-5 playoffs would be pretty slim, and at that point you let the kid play the rest of the year to evaluate whether he is a long term solution to the position.

That is not consistent with the scenario I had in mind, but I get your point.

Like others who have already posted, I'd be shocked if the Chiefs made a non-injury-related QB change if they were 4-2. If they made the change because of injury, I'd favor going back to Huard. If they made the change just because they wanted Croyle to show them what he could do then I'd want to stick with Croyle and play it out.

Why would we switch to Croyle at 4-2?


And it won't matter because Croyle will be starting on opening day.
