I'm skeptical of that picture. If I were going to drag 60-70 lbs of bait behind my boat trolling for sharks I wouldn't hook it through soft tissue and I doubt any commercial fisherman would either. Looks like an unfortunate accident that the animal rights bafoons are trying to pass off as a horrible act of cruelty by fisherman.

Unless the hooks went through the upper pallette and out the snout, that way there would be some teeth and bone in there to hold it on.

Ethically I don't see how this is different than using any other live bait.

I think it's horrible, but... what is the difference in this and using live worms, crickets, etc for normal fishing? And, no I am not condoning this by any means, just wanted to pose the question.
