Fake, fully scripted reality TV?
 

So I just came across a new show on A&E. It seems to be a "reality" TV show, but the first few minutes of it was enough to show me that the whole thing seemed to be completely scripted.

Not just storyline-type scripted... but full dialogue scripted.

I know that more and more the "reality" TV shows are increasingly fake, but I hadn't seen something this phony ever. I don't get why "reality" TV needs to be scripted.

It's "The Two Corey's" show about Corey Feldman and Corey Haim.

Haim seems to be a complete tool, even beyond being scripted to be a tool.

which corey is which? actually, nevermind. I think they have to script that show. the Coreys can read lines and that's it. do you really expect those 2 idiots to provide the content of the show?

both of the coreys are just bloated shells nowadays.

Your right. They have admitted to the press the show is "semi-scripted" Which most of these alleged reality shows have been for a long time.

Yep, that pretty well covers it. It's really bad.

The show's I've seen lately seem to have moved in that direction (though not nearly as far or as badly) include the new Scott Baio show and the Gene Simmons show. They both seem to have pretty well (meaning extensively) scripted bits. But both shows were far and away better than the Coreys...

The Gene Simmons show is pretty sweet.

What's the one where they are on the bus? They go in one by one, and they get paid so much depending on how long they last.
