Road Trip?

I have been wanting to trip it to K.C and vicinity for some time now and all I need now is just a tad bit of encouragement from you foos.

Should I stay, or should I go now?

Tentatively scheduled for 10/6 thru 1017 which would allow me to attend the Cincinnati game if I can score a pair of nosebleeds.

Even if I can't make the game, it would be fun to meet a few of you knuckleheads that share the same sort of masochistic pain that is being a Chiefs fan.

What say you? This is a community driven board after all. I could do updates on the road as I trek my way there. If you talk nice, I might even include some pics.

KC is a blast. I'd go if I were you.

You ask if you should stay or go, and give us the options of yes and no? I'm assuming yes means go, so that's my vote.

Where in Northern California are you?

It is over 1800 miles from where I live to KC. Driving at a comfortable pace would require 2 nights on the road in each direction. Take out 4 nights out of those 10 days for road time and you live 6 days to visit folks that I have scattered from Carthage Mo, to Sedalia, Liberty, and Tonganoxie Ks.

It will be a road show to be sure.

Donger, any word on the direction of Gas prices?

If you go to Carthage be sure to go over "tickly-hill." It's orgasmic, Just like Whistler hamburgers.

I'm funny like that, trying to confuse people and stuff.

Fall is the best time in the Midwest. Go for it.

Show up at Arrowhead you'll get in likely good seats too.

Are you saying I can walk up and get tickets? I can't believe it.

I was figuring I would have to snag some off of stub hub or something like that. Any suggestions?

You all will please let me know where the tailgate is?

I am looking forward to that more than the game at this point. Can't wait to smell that sweet BBQ smoke in that mid October air. Hope the weather is good.

Dang I am getting psyched. It has been 20 years since I have been there, I bet there are tons of single family homes all cropped up in the burbs where there use to be fields.

If we aren't sold out, the scalpers usually get desperate and sell for like $25. Bring some binoculars though.

It's this bridge hill on a road in Carthage my grandma used to take us on in here 1980 Caprice-Classic really fast and it'd be like a roller-coaster sensation. Don't even know if it is still there.
