The Kansas City Chiefs announced Wednesday, Sept. 5, that they have signed free-agent TE James Adkisson (Raiders) to their practice squad.


So, who was released?

It would be classic if it were Sippio. There would be a meltdown around here of biblical proportions.

It was Bobby Sippio.

Didn't the Chiefs have an open PS spot?

S Chad Williams was released, even though the roster doesn't reflect that.

Dunn is on his last legs and IMO wont last the season. So this isn't a mad move.

how can they possible be adding all these guys they know very little about.

it's like another draft or something.


it also says A TON about the players they had in camp. The coaching staff must of thought they all just completely sucked.

“What we’ve done this year is we’ve had another draft at the back end of our 53,” Edwards said. “We’ve added three guys we liked leading up to the draft, guys who went elsewhere. When they became available and we claimed them (on waivers) we were able to add three more draft choices from this year’s class. That gives us 10 draft picks from 2007 on our roster.

Except that this guy is a 230-lb. WR-turned-TE. He's not a blocking TE like Dunn at all...

Turning over the bottom 3rd of the roster allows them to SAY they are making changes while they maintain the status quo at the top...
