NOt to open an old wound, but the decision to boot Medlock for the boot of Raynor shows SOME brilliance on the coaching staff. I feel a lot more comfortable when Raynor goes out to kick field goals than I have been able to feel in a long time.

and his kickoffs land in the endzone almost everytime

Medlock's past performances yesterday = A Chiefs loss.

Raynor Looks very solid. Kicked well in GB last year where weather is an issue...

Medlock was horrid... them booting him out was one of the smartest decisions this year.

Now - Who was it that said that Medlock would find a job in the NFL? Actually argued with me all preseason.

Wouldn't it be funny if the choice to draft Medlock over Crosby actually worked to the Chiefs' benefit?

GB drafts Crosby and releases Rayner. Chiefs pick up Rayner and he is a solid or good kicker - worthy of a fifth round pick.

Crosby looks accurate and has a stronger leg than Rayner.

ya Rayner is so far so good. I wouldn't call it brilliance but with the way Medlock looked more like a no brainer
