Do we go back to run first next week?
Jacksonvilles weakness seems to be against the run. They are killer against the pass. I would say that based on that, our coaching staff will game plan a steady dose of LJ, and pass only when necessary. I hope not, because I think that Bowe and Gonzalez can do well against them. Look at what Marshall did last week.

We'll be back to LJ running into 2 LB's and a Safety all on run blitz. We'll be down 10-3 at half. The second half, who knows where we'll be :P
|
Better not. The mantra has to be pass first to establish the run and get those 8-9 guys out of the box so LJ can find some holes to run.

I'm not so sure that Jacksonville's ranking against the run is very legit. My guess is that they aren't bad against the run. They got exposed badly the first week of the season against Tennessee, but have they given up a lot of yards since?
It's folly to assume a team can't improve in that area. |
Oh, knowing us, we'll go all pass against a good pass defense.
We like to call it the "slam your head against the wall" offense. |
Since the concept of "mixing-up" the playcalling is beyond the coaching staff, I suppose we might as well run it.

"Do we go back to run first next week."
Did you intend for this to be a question? ? |

of course we will ..... we don't have enough talent to go all fancy-smancy with dem dere forward passes.

exploit the Jags D is the answer, if that means run first so be it.
|
Im ok with running on them, as long as its not in the middle.
|
One thing we did do this week agaainst eggo is we shifted more that was a huge plus for us. The one thing we didn't do is run LJ on the edges.

I don't claim to be perfect. I would have spelled grammar as grammer until I saw your post. |
