Is Croyle the guy till season's end?
Since Huard has already been ruled out for next week against the Bengals, is this Croyle's team now?
|
Like we have an option?
|
The option being Huard returns as the starter when he's healthy.
|
Yes, he's the only chance to salvage this season..if not, at least he'll get playing time ...
|
So my point remains, do we have an option?
|
And I'll reiterate... coaches usually say a player doesn't lose his starting role to injury.
Also... the obligatory, "With this coaching staff?" and DAMMIT CARL! :banghead: :cuss: Quote:

Croyle will be filling in for Huard until Huard recovers.
This appears to be Huard's team. Not that it matters. The offense scheme doesn't change. |
I hope so.
I'd rather watch him Struggle a little and either become a better QB, showing we've got a future QB......or know that in addition to an offensive Line and some corners, the Chiefs will need a QB or two in the offseason. |
Croyle job to get QB position back (in Herm's eyes)
|
If the Chiefs were smart then Croyle would go the rest of the way.
They aren't. |

Grbac and Green are examples of bad returns. Huard would be the 3rd case? If the offense performs better with Croyle, then leave him in.
The only thing that matters is calling plays that work with the personnel's abilities. |
I hope he plays well enough that Herm has no choice but to leave him in after Huards recovery. It's his job to lose starting next week. Make the most of it Croyle.
|
With the Chiefs' O-LIne, the chances of Croyle staying healthy are very slim. I"m more interested in finding out more about our 3rd string QB (whoever that is), as he is likely to see action soon.
|
I will not watch another game that Huard is the starter. If Herm puts Huard back in when healthy I will turn into Reerun.
