Neither, I haven't talked to my mother for about a year, and I haven't had any contact whatsoever with my father for over a decade.

I voted "close" for both of them. I visit them and/or speak with them a few times a week. I enjoy spending time with them, but I wouldn't call them buddies.

havent spoken with my father since 95'. Can count the times ive seen my mother on one hand since 99'.
I was very very close with my dad, my mother had some hardtimes in her life but has really turned her life around and i couldnt be more proud.

Has something changed or did he go missing?

i talk to him he just doesnt respond. but i still talk to him.
