Pats/Jags: Predict the Outcome
Hey, there's 4 good games this week, but everyone seems to think the Jags have a really good shot at upsetting the undefeated Pats. I tend to disagree. While I have very healthy respect for a high quality team, I just think the Patriots and Colts continue to play at a level far above the rest of the NFL.
In any event, 2 things to predict -- final result, and over/under on Pats rushing attempts (exclude kneel-downs, QB scrambles by Brady, etc. I'll set the over/under at 12. If you assume 60 offensive snaps, that's a paltry 1 in 5. Feel free to predict precise scores. For purposes of the pool, I'll just do margins of victory. EDIT: FYI, the weather forecast is for high 30s/low 40s, with 10% chance of precipitation. EDIT: Rats, I screwed up the poll -- didn't allow for multiple selections. Mod, please change if you would. :banghead: |
Pats will win big and I'll take the over

Pats 100 Jags 7

I'll be napping by halftime.
Pats 34 Jags 13 |
Well, I am pulling for the Pats, but, after my 0-4 performance last weekend, I guess that would make the Jags a lock.

Pats with an easy victory

You ****ed the poll up, can only choose one

Really? The pundits seem to be going for the Jags in alot of cases.

I predict a Pats blowout. Unless the Jags can hold onto the ball for 50 minutes, then it might be close.

Pats win.
They're going 19-0. |

I think as long as the Jags keep the ball out of Brady's hands they can win in a close one. 21 - 24.

I love the jags to cover they will hit you in the mouth, pound the rock, and control the clock 3 things that will keep it close.
