Where's the Official MU/Texas Thread?

I know no one cares about MU basketball, with good reason, but they are up on Texas by 7 points with 17 minutes left.

Go Mizzou!

Sully 01-12-2008 02:01 PM

The first 10 minutes of the game they were completely outplayed... but just kept hanging somewhat close till they found their rhythm... seems to have worked.

Ari ümlaüt 01-12-2008 02:07 PM

True fans, those MU fans...

BWillie 01-12-2008 02:14 PM

I don't think any Missouri fans know they even have a game today.

MU up 70-60 with 10 minutes left over #13 Texas

Stewie 01-12-2008 02:20 PM

Could Texas' shorts get any longer or baggier? Fifteen years from now people will look back and laugh and wonder why they didn't just wear skirts.

Mizzou fans aren't posting on a Chiefs internet forum during their basketball game. Clearly they aren't real fans.

KcMizzou 01-12-2008 02:35 PM

Damn, Mizzou can do no wrong in this second half.

What a huge win this would be.

HonestChieffan 01-12-2008 02:36 PM

Every Mo win is huge

BWillie 01-12-2008 02:37 PM

Game over. Good win for Missouri. Now if they can keep it together and go 10-6 through the Big 12 they could sneak in.

MIZZOU

Sully 01-12-2008 02:41 PM

This game was like the perfect storm. Texas played horrible, and Mizzou (after the first 10 minutes) walked on water.

Gotta have this win, and the one before KU on my birthday next week. Then all I can ask for as a birthday gift is a rivalry win against a team that greatly out-talents them.

HonestChieffan 01-12-2008 02:45 PM

Thats the first time they have actually played dominant ball against a good team. Anderson better feed em the same stuff all season.

Did they have a crowd?

Yeah. It's not empty like it has been all season.

I blame a lot of that on the Admins in charge of tickets, etc. I don't know if things have changed, but the system for buying tickets since the new building opened are fuggin' ridiculous.
