Falcons Hire Patriots Scouting Director as New GM

Probably a pretty good hire. I know several on here have wanted to see Carl replaced with someone from the Pats organization. Here's the link:

The Falcons hired Patriots director of college scouting Thomas Dimitroff to be their next general manager.

Dimitroff was with the Patriots for six seasons and reported directly to Scott Pioli. He's known for his scouting acumen, but it's surprising that he got the nod over an experienced candidate like Tom Heckertt. This hire will invite speculation that Dimitroff could make a run at Patriots coordinator Josh McDaniels at the end of the playoffs.

Yep..Damnit Clark.

Just as i predicted before the season ended. Its basically "business as usual" at Arrowhead again this offseason.

I'm beginning to wonder if he really exists.

No chit. It's starting to look like he wants to run the organization exactly as his dad.

Which is out of touch btw.

That works fine if you don't have a dumbass like Carl making all the decisions then. I'm alright with an owner that stays away from the football stuff as long as there is a good GM making the calls. That we don't have.

Fine. But if you care about the organization you change things up after, say, what, 10, 12, 14, 16, years of missing your goal?

I'm giving Lamar the last two for free because he was sick.

Yep. It appears Clark has the same "idontgiveashitjustkeeptheseatsfull" mentality as his Old Man.

Sure he does. GoChiefs knows him personally.

This organization stinks from the roots on up.

Entitlement runs rampant from current ownership thru the management team.

Shame this team has such a kindly fan base.
