Okay guys, I need some help..
 

I was watching the ESPNU game between WVU and Louisville and the commentator's name escapes me.

He's black (I believe) and has a very heavy accent. I also think he's a former coach.

I know this doesn't help a WHOLE lot, but it's going to piss me off the rest of the night if I don't find out who it is.

Are there any other black NCAA color commentators who broadcast on ESPN?

I thought Andre Ware only did college football.

The guy (I think) I'm referring to is a former black, NCAA D1 basketball coach. I've looked everywhere!

Well he's a black guy and former coach...any guess works now.

I don't think it was JT either. He was commentating with Doris Burke - if that helps.


Generally I thought all game recaps had who broadcasted the game. I've looked up all sites on recap of the WVU/L'ville game and nothing, argh.

I mentioned I didn't have a WHOLE lot of details. I just can't put his name or face together, obviously..

Not all former black basketball coaches go on to color commentate for ESPN.

I'll just head to bed now...they're playing another replay on the U at 8am. I'll record it.
