In the market for a new Telescope....
 

Anyone have any good suggestions?? Looking to spend anywhere from 200 - 500 bucks.

Try google. There's lots of sites. You can even get one with a camera mount and take pictures. I got one last year from National Geographic but it was only $160 or something like that. Good enough for me and the kid.

What dkind do you want? Manually operated, computer operated, etc?

You can get a nice Meade 3.5" with GOTO ability (computer controlled) for around $500. All you do is just level it and point it north and it will align itself. I think some even do that for you now even.
