The King Laughs at his non-believers

I'm reading that there is now a 10% administrative fee for those of you who cancel season tickets. Sorry Luzap.

HonestChieffan 01-22-2008 01:26 PM

How do you cancel a season ticket? Thats a rather odd idea....

Dartgod 01-22-2008 01:28 PM

How is that possible?

No

Chiefnj2 01-22-2008 01:31 PM

from the coalitions folks:
"Cancelled season ticket accounts will be subject to a 10% cancellation administration fee based on the entire season ticket account fee."

Eleazar 01-22-2008 01:32 PM

haha. Can they really charge you 10% of the price for choosing not to buy?

Ahhhh, that makes sense. If you cancel after making partial payment, they will keep 10% of your refund.

HonestChieffan 01-22-2008 01:35 PM

I suspect this is if you buy and for some reason decide to give them up...for instance a death in family where they would want to turn in unused tickets and forfeit the STH privlidge to renew the next year.

In that case its like a return to a store and paying a restocking charge..thats fair.

If you are a STH and decide not to renew ST's there is no 10% charge

:spock:

My first thought is how can that be true?

My second thought is how could that be legal?

Wow.

Eleazar 01-22-2008 01:39 PM

oh, if you've already partially paid. Well that makes sense.

BigRedChief 01-22-2008 01:44 PM

yes, this is defintely new.

No matter what this is being used for this is not a good thing. I'd like to know how they are going to collect on this if you cancel and never pay an installment? Turn you over to the collection agency? Threaten to ruin your credit rating?

I think this may be for the people that pay an installment and later change their mind.

In the past the way I understood the agreement was that if you didn't pay the full amount by X date you forfited your seats and any money paid in will be refunded to you via mail in 4-6 weeks. I guess now they wan't you to pay an admininstrative fee before you are allowed to go off into the sunset. I would be shocked if this was applied to season ticket holders that don't renew and never pay any money for 2008 tickets.

I think the benefit here is that King Carl gets some help paying his office staff and making sure you renew you mean it or its going to cost you later.

beavis 01-22-2008 01:50 PM

Holy shit I wish they would have done this when I canceled my season tickets. I think that has to be a satisfying feeling... stiffing Carl on a bill. We need to find someone in this situation. I'd suggest returning a picture of the Lombardi Trophy in lieu of payment.

Fat Elvis 01-22-2008 01:52 PM

Not only are fans leaving in droves, Carl decides that it is a good business decision to give them a kick in the ass on the way out the door?

People wonder why we suck....

Just wait till Carl sets up a toll booth on I-70 because of the Arrowhead banner.

HonestChieffan 01-22-2008 01:59 PM

I doubt fans are leaving in droves. No possible way to know what renewals are like yet.
