Mike Anderson Good fit for KC
The guy is about the ONLY Donkey I ever had any respect for. Ex-marine if i remember correctly (good work ethic) Seems to be a good teammate as well. I don't remember him bitching when Portis took his job after he rushed for over 1000 yds. He went to fullback and did his job. Might be good to have him to take over for Larry when he gets hurt plus we fill the fullback hole. A bonus would be if he holds a grudge against the rat

Anderson spent two seasons with the Ravens, gaining 245 yards rushing and scoring one touchdown. He also had 13 catches for 80 yards. The former NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year rushed for 3,822 yards and 36 touchdowns during six seasons with the Denver Broncos. He signed a four-year, $8 million contract with Baltimore in 2006 that included a $2 million signing bonus. Anderson was under contract through 2009. |
I'd take a look at him at FB and occasional RB if he wasn't going to turn 34 next fall.

good lord, please make it stop

are freakin' kidding me? sheesh. Does he come with a Time Machine? or, better yet, a Talent Machine?
|
Does he still keep in touch with Bame Morris & Nate Newton?
|
Yes, please. Lets sign an old guy even though we are cutting old guys...
:spock: |
Mike Anderson's a pothead and would be a great fit for the Bungles if only cuz he'd be used to having stripes on his uniform.
|
I never knew anything about him and Maryjane
As far as the age goes I still think we need some positive leadership on offense, and fullback would be a good spot for an oldtimer. Tony can't do it all alone. |
Make it stop!!!
We can't have 25 year old players at every position. We need older players with leadership skills to help mentor and bring the younger guys along. Not to mention the fact that we need help all over the place. A couple of well place veterans makes sense. And I'm not even advocating for Anderson. I'm just saying. This idea that we're going to be a team full of players under 30 is silly. |

If we sign Mike Anderson at essentially the same age we cut T-Rich I'm going to be pissed.

We should not sign anyone who's 30, except maybe a kicker.
And a head coach. |

He was suspended 4 games and would be suspended a full season if his piss pops positive again. |
