Anyone else getting it? I'm pumped!

I can't wait. From reading some of the smash boards it appears that there is alot more balance to the game than Meele, which is a good thing. The only thing that I know is going to bother me is the weak weak weak online system. Nintendo really screwed that up. Maybe we can have some chiefsplanet brawls.

I was wondering how the online play is functioning.

Why do people buy these games on ebay and spend more than it would cost them in the local store. There is already one on Ebay going over $60 after shipping.

I had no idea myself until I looked up some reviews for these 50% off games.

Turns out it got great reviews. Metcritic has it in the high 80's.

Best puzzle game in many years.

yeah, I looked up metacritic on it too. Needless to say, if it gets an 8.7 it has to be decent. My son will be thrilled this easter.

So to play this game on-line, do you have to enter those strange Wii game codes??

I bought it yesterday and had a chance to play a little last night. cool game and concept. i like being able to play in level from different games and the items are cool. I should read how to play it though as it is a little "chaotic". I think once i get the controls down it will be really fun. Graphics are pretty cool (for the wii). Haven't ventured into the online play. I want to get a little better at the game first.

I have a hard time with the four player brawls. I generally lose my character in the chaos. I am getting use to the controller as well (using the Wii VC controller). Focusing on which guy is on my team, where the enemies are, what the dynamic level is doing, the items, etc... is pretty ****ing difficult at this point.

The online play is OK.

If anyone wants to play team brawl online, let me know.

i'm getting better. adventure mode is pretty cool

I picked this up as well, and I'm not very good. I'm having problems getting comfortable with the controls, the directional attacks, locating my character during 4 player battles, and just getting my guy pointed in the right direction to attack. I've tried the gamecube controller and the classic. Probably the first fighting game I've played since MK2. What's a good entry level character people are using? I've beat the solo brawl with Link, Pit and Mario so far. I've been trolling www.smashboards.com but that's some pretty advanced stuff. You need an acronym guide to follow some of the threads :(
