Dogma
The wife and I were driving back from KC last night when we got on the topic of the poor career choices of Ben Affleck. Well that moved us to Dogma, one of his few watchable films. So when we got home, I popped it in--goddammit this movie is fucking hilarious. It's such a well done satire, kudos to Smith for the scorched earth policy surrounding the subject matter.

Great flick. Affleck did a damned good job in "Chasing Amy" too.
He might have found his niche directing though. "Gone Baby Gone" was great. And little brother Casey might have proven himself the better serious actor in the same movie. |

Re: Dogma. The Loki-Bartleby dynamic just kills me. You gotta love a guy who blasts a dude with a Desert Eagle on a bus then breaks out "Whose house?? Run's house" |

Dogma has to be one of the most well written and perfectly cast films of this generation.
Okay...that may be a little over the top, but it's some seriously good shit. |

Dogma is great...so many fantastic things came together at the right moment to make it what it is...as far as Ben movies...
Anyone who has a problem with them will get their asses kicked by Fred O'Bannion http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/1...nafflekot1.jpg |
