Testing a new feature
Apparently there's a feature in vBulletin that allows us to set prefixes to use for threads. I don't particularly like the look of having them, but you can filter the forum by the prefix you're looking for, so you could easily find the Chiefs news if you were looking for that, as an example.
I dunno. It's interesting. What do you think? |
Seems cool.

At the bottom of the lounge, there's a pull down you can use to apply the filter.
I wish that there was a way to "subscribe" to only the topics you were interested in, so that people who didn't want to see poop threads could just have that unchecked somewhere, and it would be like they didn't even exist. |

Well, I'll have to think about this one. It seems useful, but I'd like it much more if people could pick and choose what they'd like to see. As it is, it's nice if you're just trying to dig up all the Chiefs threads for the day, but not very useful if you just don't want to see all the KU threads (for example), which is my main goal.

I like it. Sometimes it's hard to find Chiefs news through all the other shit.

I'm OK with it.

Is there a way to tie it into the current thread icons we have and then require an icon be chosen before a thread is started? It is a cool feature though and does offer a mini search option if you know there was a chiefs, royals, etc. thread over the past couple days but you can't seem to locate it.
