Is it just me or is Ellis falling down mock drafts?
Months ago he was the talk of the pre-draft landscape by kicking ass at the Senior Bowl. He had a slightly disappointing combine but a good pro day.
A lot of people had him going in the top five. Now I see him at 8 or 9 quite a bit. What has Dorsey done to stay put while Ellis drops? Some people had Ellis over Dorsey awhile back. Have Dorsey's injury concerns even been addressed? |
Its bc of the mock draft experts going on need instead of BPA, that and two teams (Jets and Pats) play a 3-4 and he doesnt fit that defense.

He's pretty much stayed at 9 or 10 in mock drafts the entire time.

McDouche and Kiper were all over taking DE since its a major need now.

The hype on him has died down a bit since his Senior Bowl performance.
No way he falls past Cincinnati, and we may be secretly coveting him at #5. Personally, I'm still a bit concerned over his size and short arms. |
its called dorsey is way better than ellis, i had ellis at 9 since the beggining of march, plus ellis sucked balls at combine

I disagree with that Dorsey and Ellis are pretty close to the same, Dorsey has more name hype.

I think Kiper and McShay, just to throw out two names, still have Ellis in their top 5-6 players. |

Plus, it's common knowledge that both Cincinnati and New Orleans need a DT badly. |
I haven't seen him picked anywhere BUT #9 for the last month or so. I've looked at quite a few mocks, not hundreds, but quite a few. The Bengals get him every time.
