Well, that is crap. It was working fine when I posted this thread. I know I checked it after I posted the thread.

What kind of movies were you planning on shooting with it?

Who? Me? Hell, I got a sweet deal on a Panasonic HD camcorder that I gave the wife for Christmas. We are perfectly happy with it. Of course, we just use it for family stuff. The video looks great when you hook up the camera directly to the HD tv. ;)

I just posted this Canon deal because I thought some here might be interested. Seemed like a great price. And I know Canon is a good quality camcorder - the Panasonic was a replacement for a Canon Elura 65 mini dv that I broke by dropping on the floor.

I bought 3 of them before the deal died. I hope it wasnt a price mistake because I can easily profit $500-$600 off of them if they actually ship.
