Back to the bottom.

So Sad. 7 Game slide.

I know.. it's my fault. I started writing the Royals record on my whiteboard at work and updating it daily. Now it's just a sick joke when I do.

Molitoth 04-25-2008 08:42 AM

I know they are only 3.5 games back and they easily could go on a hot streak, but I'm sick of watching every game already, opponents are scoring way too many points.

Demonpenz 04-25-2008 08:45 AM

it is pretty much the way I expected. I wouldn't worry about the Wins and Losses but the evaluation and the progress of the players

StcChief 04-25-2008 08:55 AM

June swoon came early huh.

Sure-Oz 04-25-2008 09:02 AM

Butler's slugging percentage is sick...just under .400

We need more power out of him, these 1-4 games all singles are killing us...of course no one else is helping anyway

Sanka 04-25-2008 09:05 AM

To all Royal fans, should I keep Gordon on my fantasy team? He is my back up 1st and 3rd basemen behind Miguel Cabrera and Derek Lee.

yeah i would...he has been solid all year, just not getting any RBI opps

How deep is your league though?

Demonpenz 04-25-2008 09:38 AM

Butler and gordon are like what 22? their major power years are 6 or 7 years away. when they are with the yankees

Chief Chief 04-25-2008 09:39 AM

They need to keep TJ on the bench until he comes up with a new hitting stance/style/theory which prevents him from overswinging, being late on fastballs, reaching out on unhittable low-and-away pitches, etc.

Hillman said on the radio a few days ago that we were going to see TJ choke up on the bat but I haven't witnessed it yet.

The defense may suffer just a fraction with Callaspo at SS, but it's well worth it if we have a .300 hitter in the 9th spot instead of a .148 whiffer.

Seems more like the April swoon come 2 weeks late.

so the Royals 100 loss season is still in the Cards ? :D

Listening to that entire doubleheader last night was a horrifying experience which left severe mental scars from which I may never recover from. Therefore, I am on strike from starting game threads until they win at least 2 games in a row.

(Translation: this weekend is the NFL draft and I'm busy next week, so I figure waiting for a 2-game win streak will safely take me well into May when I may have time again)

Points? :spock: No. The Royals are struggling to produce runs.
