i went to the royals game tonight with high hopes of purchasing a joakim soria jersey shirt in the pro shop. i got there, and they had gordon, butler, dejesus, meche, teahen, and grudzielanek. that is all. no greinke, bannister, or soria...their three best players. whats up with that?

also, i asked the lady working there if they had any soria shirts, and she had no idea what i was talking about.

Good question on the jerseys. I was also at the game tonight, nice eighth inning by the boys in blue.

so you went to the game with the intention of getting hosed on a purchase? Look around online and in sporting goods stores first, the stadium should be a last resort for a purchase. Unless money ain't a thing to you.

Give them a break, it's been a while since they had multiple players with jerseys people wanted.

I think some folks pay a little more at the proshop because the team gets 100% of the money, while jerseys bought elsewhere only a percentage goes to the team.

IIRC, that's the way things were a year or two ago. I think that is still the case, but don't know for sure.

Personally, I don't mind spending a little extra if it benefits the team, especially in a small market.
