TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

The first person who suggests Jamaal Charles should unseat Larry Johnson as our starting running back loses a testicle.

You have been warned.

Mecca 04-27-2008 05:14 PM

I don't think Charles will ever be a starter, he's a great #2 though because of his elite speed and ability to make big plays.

I'd never want him to touch the ball more than 15 times in a game though.

3rd down and change of pace back...hopefully albert and big barry can help LJ get back to form.

kstater 04-27-2008 05:14 PM

Carl Nicks could mean more to this team than LJ.

He's the new Bennett. Work on the fumbling, and get them both on the field at the same time a few downs a game.

I like having 3 capable backs. You really need RB depth, and it's nice to have a home run hitter.

KcMizzou 04-27-2008 05:15 PM

I dunno about that, but he looks pretty damned good.

You wish you could have my testicle.

Can he return kicks and punts?

Mecca 04-27-2008 05:20 PM

I think he's done kickoffs, I don't believe he's ever done punts though, similar to Felix Jones in that right.

Probably, but we did get this guy too...

Pick Analysis:Robinson is the best return man in the country out of Utah State. The competition isn't great in the WAC and it could be tough for him to adjust to the pro game. Still, he's very good at what he does and is an excellent special teamer.

Rain Man 04-27-2008 05:20 PM

Unseat Kolby, you mean.

The Franchise 04-27-2008 05:21 PM

Well I like how with him we have an explosive 3rd down back who can take it to the house...but he can also help out with special teams duties.

How is he in the catching department?

Deberg_1990 04-27-2008 05:22 PM

Ive got to think Gailey will know how to mix it up and use this guy correctly.

Thig Lyfe 04-27-2008 05:23 PM

Kolby is going to be the established starter after TC. Charles will be the 3rd down back and LJ will go in when Kolby and Charles are too tired from scoring touchdowns.

markk 04-27-2008 05:23 PM

upside is reggie bush - lots of speed and receiving ability could make him a toy for the offense but will never be a 20-25 carry guy
