IronMan Fever!!!

I have a bunch of friends who have called and want to go see IronMan. Plus, the beautiful and witty Mrs. FAX wants to see it, as well. Unfortunately, the calls kept coming in and they all want to go at different times. I'm willing to see the movie ... maybe 3 times, but not 6 or 7 in the same weekend. Therefore, a quandry results. How do I decide who to go see IronMan with and who I regrettably turn down? At this point, I've said "yes" to everybody.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance for your assistance with this matter and Go IronMan!!!

Get your tickets early ( a day before it premieres), and for the hardcore fans get their 3 to 4 hours before the movie starts to avoid lines. This is what I did for Transformers and I was like the 9th person to enter the theater

Everythink I've heard (Mancow loved it, Late night douches on Fox News loved it, good reviews, teen at the school, etc) all gave positives.

The big thing I've heard so far is that the built in "cheese factor" of all comix movies isn't there. And honestly, that's the reason most people who pan them do. There's just too much corny stuff.

I have high hopes...

That's good advice, Mr. Tribal Warfare. My problem is that, if I go with everybody who wants to go, I'll wind up going 6 or 7 times in one weekend. That's like a whole day of IronMan and, even though this is the one superhero I wanted them to make a good movie about, that's too much IronMan for one person at one time.

Maybe I can come up with 5 trivia questions about IronMan and only go with those people who can answer them correctly. Of course, that will eliminate the beautiful and witty Mrs. FAX, but what the hey?

Thanks again for the advice. I have some work to do, so I'll hang up and listen offline.

Mr FAX:

I am astounded.....if given all the choices, you would rather go with one of 7 friends and not Mrs. FAX? (j/k)

To avoid hurt feelings maybe you should just say that being a Billionaire recluse you prefer only close company when attending public functions and take the Mrs.

or

You could just be happy with all of your popularity and tell all 7 friends that if they want the honor of the company of Mr & Mrs FAX they should meet you at the theater at a designated time.

Is the comic book cheese to a minimum?...

I love this resurgence of action flicks...they all seemed to suck in the 90s and early 2000's.

The trailers look terrific. RD Jr., when he isn't laying face down on Sunset Blvd., is the type of actor that can pull this kind of roll off and turn it into a franchise for multiple flix (as opposed to what Ben Affleck did or didn't do with Daredevil). I hope this is the start of something big.
