The 2003 NBA Draft
 

was unreal. Big names like LeBron, Carmelo, Bosh, and D-Wade made the draft great, but people like David West, Boris Diaw, Kendrick Perkins, Leandro Barbosa, Josh Howard, Kyle Korver, and James Jones were all picked in the lower half of the first round and in the second. High end talent and great depth made this an outstanding draft. Here's a link:

I think this year's draft has potential to be even better. The NBA is close to being watchable again year round. Usually I just watch the playoffs but this year I caught a few regular season games and they were definitely enjoyable. The western conference was extremely competitive all year. This Cavs-Celtics series is a lot of fun to watch. If it goes as hoped by many to a Celtics-Lakers final I think it will do a lot to rejuvenate the NBA.

Of course it's fixed. You seriously think that the Cavs were a better team than the Pistons last season? No chance in hell. David Stern's worst nightmare is a Piston/Spurs final.

That was a great draft class. How reeruned are the Pistons for taking Darko Milicic?

I think Lebron alone was better than the Pistons last season.

David Stern must hate the bulls. They should've won the last like, 4 titles straight but the NBA is fixed, so Hinrich had to be a bust. Bulls can't be good without Jordan. Period. ****in rigged shit.

That decision looks worse every year. Yeah lets take a pretty raw and undeveloped player and then not play him because he is too raw and undeveloped.

All those cats would have sat. If you hadn't noticed we have a PG, SG, SF and at the time Big Ben and Rasheed(Chiefs Fan)Wallace. Sure one of those guys would be nice and you're not telling this Piston fan ANYTHING I didn't already know. However, with LB as coach at the time and a championship caliber team(2004 title) a player like those three wouldn't have wanted to come in and play 20 minutes a night their first couple of years. I'll still take Joe D at the end of the day and you can have all three of those guys. Joe still has 'em covered 3 rings to 1.
