Adopting a Pet
 

I've been wanting to adopt a dog so Allie my siberian husky can have someone to play with. I found one I'd like to adopt and I'm going next week to look at him and hopefully get him. He's a 10 month old Siberian Husky named Skye. He's neutered and lives in a foster home right now.

Is adopting an animal worth it? My Husky is kinda hyper and wants to play a lot. The foster parent said Skye is calm and very gentle. Will they mesh well or could there be problems?

your hyper dog should tackle the non hyper dog to show him who is boss then they should be ok. You might have to seperate them from feeding as the hyperdog might steal the other doggies food

I would get the two together somewhere BEFORE you adopt it. Most dogs get along, but some won't. Be prepared for a lot of butt sniffing and "humping" to decide who's the pack leader.

Better to have one mellow dog and one hyper dog than two hyper dogs.
