My lawnmower took a S*** and died...

I actually inherited the lawnmower from my dad. And I had been using it since I was 11. So it was due to blow up.

So now I'm looking at a cordless/electric lawn mower.

Anyone ever use one and have any problems w/ durability?

I'm only looking at reviews on Amazon basically from people who just bought the mower. And I want someone who's at least used one for a year.

So yeah....I'm goin green. Eat me!

I used one for a couple years back when I lived in a mobile home and it wasn't too bad. The only real drawback is that you'll need to mow more frequently because they don't have the power to cut through tall grass.

Last summer I could mow for close to an hour on a tank of gas
now the push mower will only mow for 45 minutes
the corn in the fuel affecting it that much -I'm scared to see how the car is doing now

The ultimate in 'going green'...Where is the green rake though? In an effort to go green myself, I have decided to pour diesel fuel over my entire property, set it ablaze, then drench it with 200 gallons of roundup weekly for a month. Then, I will concrete every square inch of my property so that I can power wash any dirt or debris into the sewer system...I will of course, leave holes in the concrete to dump my motor oil into.

FWIW, I actually have a Black & Decker corded model - it's the one that goes for $229 at Target. It has a 19" swath which kinda sucks but one of my neighbors was moving all the way across the US so the price was right.... free.

I kinda like it. But I'm only using it because I'm scared my Craftsman probably won't start.
