Let the whining about "the call" commence!!!! :D

As a royal fan. I can tell you I haven't heard about the call for years. I have heard about their last WC. (even if it was a fluke)

I will come up in this thread. but that was so .... 23 years ago :D

Cardinals point to the call when Royals fans loudly hang thier hat on the only thing they can, otherwise, we have better things to dwell on.

What other smack do the royals hold over the cards?? Who's been the better team by FAR since that series?? Unless you meant the part about the cards fans boasting.

I am guessing you are being a little narrow minded and think that just because the cardinals fans here in KC talk about it (you know, with all the Royals fans clearing thier throats and singing all hail 85 every time someone is seen sporting the birds on the bat) that all cardinals fans still gnash thier teeth and bemoan the call every time they see the color blue.

I get a little riled being here and talk about it, and then when I go in search of fellow cards fans talking about it at interleague time, most times all I find is something akin to "Time to play the Royals again, how are they this year? They always seem to play us pretty well, despite thier record. I bet I can get some tickets to one of the games over there at thier park."

Where were we talking about boasting? The claim was that Cards fans cry and whine about the call at every turn, and I said that they don't really care about it that much anymore until the Royals fans try to drudge up 85.

If you want to talk about boasting, we can go and look and see who has something to boast about when talking about more recent teams.

except their are not "toasted ravioli" joints in town. it's just a menu item at Italian Rest. and now it's more of a novelty item. Like taking out of towners to the Arch.
